The Financial sector union of Denmark, Finansforbundet, has reached an agreement with the employer organisation for the financial sector. The two year valid agreement will give salary increases with one percent 2012 and one percent 2013.

“It has been very difficult negotiations. I think that we have reached a reasonable an also responsible result – having in mind the situation. I do understand that two percent does not sound as very much – and it is not when we compare to agreement made during better times. But both the financial sector and the society at large are in a difficult situation and that has to be reflected in an agreement” says Kent Petersen, president of Finansforbundet.
