Nordic tripartite dialogue for a strengthened working life and post-Corona strategies

On May 7, 2020, NFU together with the Nordic trade union movement sent an open letter to Paula Lehtomäki, General Secreatary of the Nordic Council of Ministers, the Nordic Ministers for Enterprise, the Nordic Ministers for Employment and the Nordic Ministers for Nordic cooperation.

NFU and the Nordic trade union movement, welcomes the initiative from the Nordic Ministers for Enterprise on establishing a Nordic post Covid-19 strategy for the economy. The Nordic tripartite dialogue should play a key role in the development of the strategy. The full letter can be found here (in scandinavian).

The letter is signed by NFU President Michael Budolfsen together with Nordic Union – HRCT (Hotels, Restaurants, Catering and Tourism), NUF – Nordic Unions Food, NTF – Nordic Transport workers Federation, NBTF – Nordic construction and woodworking Federation, NOFS – Nordic public sector workers trade union confederation, Nordic IN – Nordic industry workers and NLS – Nordic teachers’ Council and NFS – Nordic trade union Confederation

NFU and UNI Europa Finance host final conference in Fintech project

On May 10, Nordic Financial Unions and Uni Europa Finance, together with the University of Gothenburg hosted the final conference of the project How Fintech affects the financial sector and what the effects are on collective bargaining in the European financial sector in Copenhagen. The day was a mix of different panel discussions of the challenges and opportunities Fintech pose for the finance sector and finance unions.
