NFU Consultation Reply to EIOPA on Open Insurance (2021)

Summary

The European Insurance and Occupational Pension Authority (EIOPA) launched a public consultation on open insurance, focused on access to and sharing of insurance-related data. In its Discussion Paper, EIOPA explores whether and how far insurance value chains should be ‘opened’ up by sharing insurance-related and specific policyholder data amongst insurance and non-insurance firms to protect policyholder rights and allow for innovation in products and services.

Nordic Financial Unions (NFU) replied to EIOPA's public consultation on the discussion paper on Open Insurance: assessing and sharing insurance-related data, emphasising the perspective of Nordic financial employees.
