After finishing her Master’s degree in Political Science at Copenhagen University, Elvira has primarily worked in civil society at Forum – the National Forum for Voluntary Organisations and Famna – the national organisation for non-governmental actors within care and welfare.

Additionally, she has experience as a research assistant in the field of EU security policy and Nordic cooperation from the Swedish Defence University.

Working with the promotion of civil society organisations and democracy really opened my eyes to the Nordic model and its many benefits for individuals and our society as a whole. I am therefore tremendously excited to be part of this strong trade union movement and promote the Nordic model at the European level and make sure that the employee perspective is taken into account, says Elvira about her new position.
